Brookhaven Heights was founded in the 1950s and is located between Peachtree Road and North Druid Hills Road. This area is centrally located and offers many shopping and dining choices within walking distance. The neighborhood is very pedestrian friendly for those inclined to enjoy a leisurely stroll walking hand in hand with a friend on a lazy Saturday. However, if you prefer the hustle of driving from shopping to dinner there is ample parking.
I enjoy the community for its central location, but private feel. Residents can’t say enough nice things about the schools and amenities in the area. – Dawn
Although it has the city atmosphere of Atlanta, after entering the community, the plush gardens of each homes’ landscaping will make you feel transported to the suburbs. Tree lined streets invite families to play ball outside while lush peonies invite joggers and walkers to enjoy the view from the sidewalk and occasionally stop to talk to their neighbors. Members of the community pride themselves on knowing each other and even maintain a website with current happens such as barbecues and garage sales.
