Derby Hills is a well established neighborhood located in Brookhaven near the intersection of Peachtree-Dunwoody Road and Windsor Parkway. The Brookhaven community offers a wonderful urban lifestyle while also offering large single family homes, giving it a bit of a suburban feel. There are many parks and green spaces nearby, as well as city conveniences such as MARTA and malls including the up scale Phipps Plaza and Lenox Mall.
Many homes in Derby Hills are single family traditional brick ranches. Others are Southern plantation inspired two-story houses. Derby Hills is located minutes from Blackburn Park and Capital City Club. Blackburn Park is a 49 acre park with sports fields such as softball and soccer as well as tennis and basketball courts. The park has something to offer all ages with a playground for the little ones and picnic areas and leisurely trails for kids of all ages. Capital City Club is a private country club which offers an 18 hole golf course, tennis and swimming. The Capital City Club is a registered historic landmark because it was the first planned golf community in Georgia.
