The Grant Park area of East Atlanta has a rich history and the contains two of Atlanta”s well-known attractions, Zoo Atlanta and the Atlanta Cyclorama. Grant Park itself is the oldest city park in Atlanta. The neighborhood surrounding the park is the city”s largest history neighborhood and includes Oakland Cemetary and Grant Mansion. This vibrant area has a great sense of neighborhood pride, showcased by such events as the annual Tour of Homes, sponsored by the Grant Park Neighborhood Association.
